Re:Sexual Transference

We often focus on the therapist who mishandles transference such that "acting out" occurs. We haven't focused on the therapist who mishandles transference such that stultifying of the client's individuation occurs. I think this deserves some attention, too, because it can be horrendous emotionally even though it's not devastating psychologically.
