    Re: childhood sexual games/behaviours

One of the most remarkable things is that there is actually hardly any professional literature/research at all about normal sexual behavior among children.

In effect, nobody has a very good idea about what is normal sexual behavior for children. From the professional literature one gets the impression that any sexual expression in children is to be regarded almost always as symptomatic of something pathological.

Thus, the profession is a long way from recognizing sexuality as a significant part of the lives of young persons. This is a kind of sexual oppression not yet recognized as such.

This is not a statement of advocacy for pedophilia, for I am simply referring to chilren's sexual feelings in general and to their interest in expressing those feelings in relation to other children in ways that are not destructive.
