If my clients bring up spiritual concerns, (and I just had one today that did), my inclination is to refer them to someone who is qualified to counsel in spiritual matters. I am upfront with my client about my general beliefs, and ask some questions about their concerns, and by that, will refer them to one of several churches or denominations, depending on their persective. But I don't feel qualified myself to help a client in that area. Even if you are upfront about being Christian, what's to say that your form of christianity is the same as the client's?
