    unconscious communication
Melvin Richnik · 12/17/99 at 4:41 pm ET

I'm looking to improve my ability to respond to people's unconscious communications, in real world and clinical settings... I read somewhere that Dr. Erickson would, as part of his training, enter trance himself, alone, and pretend he was with a friend or client and "hallucinate" the most effective way of communicating with that individual. I realize that no book or training seminar can easily teach this synchronization, or so I've found, but I'm wondering if there are other techniques or resources available to help point one in the direction of better unconscious communications? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    M.R.
