I don't really know what your point of converstation is in the message. In addition, I think it would be most helpful if you supply specific names when your referrence someone (the alleged psychiatrist) and dates (approximate ones are fine). That way, people could judge the accuracy of your information. A lot of myths abound regarding Dr. Erickson. These have risen from 2nd-35r-4th-nth retelling of sotries (so of which were wrong to begin with - such as his being color blind, for instance). Also, recall that Dr. Erickson's approach evolved and changed over time, so something he did at one point in his career was largely different at another date. For instance, early in his career, 1935-40, he would be redundant and repeat suggestions for "sleep" - and he completely abandoned that by the 1970s. I can't comment on the point I don't 'get' and I don't even know if the data from which your conclusion is drawn is accurate (to perhaps infer from it). Please try to be as detailed about the background facts as you try to be about the secondary details you relate.
