Adolescent Inpatient Treatment Milieu Design

As a clinician at a State Hospital, I am requesting any information or contact individuals with information about the most effective physical design for a co-ed adolescent inpatient program. We already have a program up and running and are being asked to identify the pros and cons to altering our physical environment in ways which do not appear to be clinically sound. Those proposing this change have requested "hard data" to support our concerns. Please respond. Thank you.
