    Pica in autistic children.

Am interested in possible strategies to overcome pica behaviour (ingesting of drywall, fuzz, crumbs off floor) with a 4 year old with a diagnosis of autism. There may be a sensory component and am hoping for input from an OT consult in the near future. Any ideas other than redirecting?
