My boyfriend and I have been together 3 years. In the past year or so the only time we have sex is if I initiate sex. And towards me there is very little or no foreplay. I've discussed this with my partner on numerous occasions to no avail. He insists he has reciprocated the foreplay on many occasions.

About 2 months ago I woke up in the middle of the night to him masturbating. I was so angry I just got up and spent the remainder of the night on the couch. We did discuss it after the fact, I explained how humiliated I felt and hurt that while he knows how much I want him, he didn't turn to me. He said he understood and didn't know why it happened, but quite honestly, things have not changed. We still only have sex if I initiate it, and the foreplay is still not reciprocated.

I finally told him I don't even want to bother with it any longer. If this cannot be a mutually satisfying sexual relationship, then there's no sexual relationship.

    What am I doing wrong?
