Re: Resistance to change starts with OD folks being scared

J.L., thanks again for your input. I am starting to be more and more interested in this topic as well. I only have to write a paper about it (find strategies as I said to encounter and to deal with resistance). Thanks for your input. I guess that you are American. I am looking at this from a European perspective, living in a country right now which to me is one of the worst when it comes to change. (people expect things to be (stay) the same, so resistance is even stronger) You said that authority plays a big role, and this is the case here as well.

There are so many conventional strategies, but everything seems so untested and somehow does not fit into reality. I am also trying to find out about cultural determinants that influence resistance.

I wish there were more people answering...Do you know any other forums?

    Thanks for your input, D.
