Call the publishers of the book you will use as a text in order to get a teaching guide and videos. If they don't have these...then likely you have the wrong text. You obviously don't have a lot of time between now and January!

I could like others who visit this forum probably outline the course for you....but it would take us unpaid time...so I'm not sure it's fair to expect a lot of help here....you have to chunk down your request; it is too large.

Phew...you do have a job ahead. And yes, I know the trauma that paramedics go through which is a bit worse than the average officer but not much I would imagine.

My 2cents...you would want to include in your course how to resolve the issue of police abuse and to minimize it...officers have a delicate choice to make in managing their own behaviors to be able to be available but not over do it (shooting one person 43 times, for example---obviously that officer was scared and didn't know how to manage his behavior).
