I agree with your definition of learning. I would define learning as giving up old 'meanings' ie meaning which are based on past experiences. the meaning given to these experiences are no longer relevant. In the organizational context this would mean that the organization reexamines the for example 'what controlling expenditure' meant the last time they did it checking the relevance of the meaning at each point. one of my teachers called learning as invalidating oneself all the time. he said never bet your life on old meanings.
