Ericksonian vs. Heart Centered Hypnobehavioral Therapy
Ann Rosenberg · 12/31/97 at 6:23 PM ET

I am still feeling the wonderful effects of my first exposure to Ericksonian Therapy from Phoenix. I am a CSW in private practice in New York City. I have an acquaintance here in New York who is very into Heart Centered Hypnobehavioral Therapy from Wellness Institute. I think the founder or leader is a Diane Zimberoff from Washington State. When Heart Centered HT is explained to me it seems so uncomfortable because there is a lot of primal yelling and screaming. I see little or no benifit from such explosions as a NEEDED focus when it can be done so peacefully as experienced by myself in Phoenix. I continue to resist this Heart Centered approach. Please help me understand whether or not this approach has any value in your world of Ericksonian Hypnotherapy.

Again, thank you for the rich experience in Phoenix. Ann Rosenberg, CSW
