Training

Mr. Lankton,

I was wondering if you could give your thoughts on what type of training plan would be the most effective to learn Ericksonian therapy.

As a student that is about to graduate, I am looking to develop a plan of action and would like your input. My sense is that the type of training that is available has changed radically over the past few decades. All of the therapists that I speak with tell me that they trained with master trainers on a weekly or monthly basis for many years. In the current environment, it appears that this type of training is not available because it is too expensive. Now, the trainings are short term and intensive in nature.

I think that I learn best when there is constant reinforcement but it is difficult to find opportunities that fit this structure. Is there a way to receive this type of training if one does not live in Arizona?
