I am reading "Uncommon Therapy" by Haley about Erickson and it is pretty much my first exposure to his work (wow). I just read about the February Man case (pp.79-82). I cried. I got on-line to try and find someone skilled enough to do a similar thing with me. I wonder if there are any therapists here in the East (San Francisco) Bay area who practice some form of Ericksonian hypnotherapy and have the ability to "interject into (my) memory a feeling of being accepted and a feeling of sharing with a real person many things in my life" or "successfully extrapolating into (my) memories of the past the feelings of an emotionally satisfying childhood." I will check back here for responses/ideas/referrals. thanks
