Since feeling happy is not something she can easily maintain I would think of two directions to pursue: 1) the use of hypnosis to help ‘train’ her to tolerate feeling good (remembering the yoga, feeling it, seeing herself with it, etc.)….what emerges from that, if anything, as her difficulty will tell you what the problem is! 2) Happy feelings are incompatible with what she is continually recreating in her mind …. So, what is she really sad or unhappy about that she is simply not addressing?
