    Hypnosis and Childbirth
    Monica Diaz · 03/22/02 at 12:43 ET

Hello, I am a family and ericksonian psichotherapist. I was trained en the Milton Institute in Mexico City. I use hypnosis and self-hypnosis with my patients so that they deal with psychological issues, but I've never worked in a medical context, nor with pain relief. Now that I am pregnant I would like to use self-hypnosis during labor. I live in Cancún, far away from my teachers and colleges. Could you give me some hints I should take into account? Thank you, I am very glad I found this forum!!
