NYC Trauma Relieve Volunteer Efforts

If any reader knows of the method for volunteering effort to aid the victims and citizens of NYC could you please post those contacts or numbers here? I'm sure many among us wish to lend aid for the relief of trauma, pain, and so on that has resulted from the terrible acts of terrorism today, Sept. 11, 2001 in New York City. Thank you.
