I was told that the duration of contact time was much shorter than one is lead to believe from other sources. That is, Bandler spent 4 days and Grinder 5. This was told to me by someone who is quite compitent and who had reportedly checked Mrs. Erickson's record book of visitors concerning this very question. Now, keep in mind too that you could 'just show up' at Dr. Erickson's office and by pass that list sometimes. Usually you were added to it later. But it is possible 'beat the list' and that add some doubt the the actual figures. Nevertheless, it seems unlikely that the numbers could be off by much, since sooner or later a frequent visitor would reappear in that visitor list/book. And 'sooner' is more likely than 'later' since Mrs. Erickson kept it. But of course, the best thing to do is ask either of the parties in question how often they visited. And too, inquire, if you can from whomever has that guest book (Mrs. Erickson of the Erickson Foundation Archives.) Then compare the information for consistency. [[Hey, Jeff, are you reading this? Can you say where that book now rests?]]
