    well, as a webcam user, i can say, yes, it's a rush of adrenaline, bringing internet communications to a more personal level. and you dont feel fake anymore. it's you there. your body, your face. you cant pretend. therefor, you dont feel like you're living a fake life anymore. also, having a webcam can slowly guide you back to reality. isnt it? slowly but surely, you find yourself again. using the internet is not refusing to socialise, it's just...to live on another level in society. internet life isnt serious. you never face the facts but in a moderate way, yet you learn more than ever.
