Thank you John, the link is working again! So now I know what I'm doing the rest of today (and tomorrow..) Reading your book! One more thing, you answered my question very quick. How much time are you online if I might ask? Is it just because you're doing research and because of your profession? Or do you like being a member of virtual communities yourself and is that the reason you wrote 'psychology of cyberspace'? I was also thinking about what you said about people who like contacting online because they can express themselves better. Do you think the part of the world that's got English as a mother language has an advantage at that part of expression? Have a nice day, Laura
Like for me chatting with people from all parts of the globe means most of the time having to type in English. And I still have to search for words, tha't's irritating me a little bit: wondering all the time if I'm making grammar mistakes or if I'm using the wrong words. Meeting people in a normal way means I can talk Dutch, for me a better way to express myself and NOT feel inhibited..
