Re:meeting people online

Get a life!

"Meeting" people online is only slightly less dangerous than posting your telephone number in the drunk tank. Or perhaps it is more dangerous. I'm not sure.

I'm sorry to tell you folks that, because the internet is clearly your primary social outlet. But if you were to get off your butt and try to meet some real people you'd be much happier and safer.

Maybe I am a Luddite, but I've found it works. Real relationships with real people are highly superior to typing back and forth with fourteen year old boys and forty-somethings who live in their parent's basements.

Give it a try. Real life can be fun. Really.
