U may wish to look at Centrinity's First Class client (www.centrinity.com) - and subscribe to something like http://gurnards.dyndns.org, where armed with a suitable ethical approach, both synchronous and asynchronous text-based communication is easily observable. With the online CV (resume) feature, and the immediacy of the 'invite to chat' feature, it's a great resource. This is what the OU (UK) uses for its Dist Ed resource client/server.

U may wish to contact the admin team, of course, and tell them of your interests.

And they're all a nice bunch of chaps over there too. Dunno if you need to be a european resident to use this facility tho'.
