Hello, all:
I'm new to this forum, but I've paged through most of the online book. To be honest, I was more than fascinated by the whole study; it was more information than I've ever dreamed of seeing on Internet psychology.
I'm a journalist attempting to write a story on anthropormorphism on the Internet. Anthropormorphism is, though it probably should be called "zoomorphism," the practice of describing oneself as an animal/human mix. Predominantly, this refers to a human with an animal's head and/or other characteristics, but it can be seen the other way, as well.
I've researched all over the Internet, but there are very few articles or even simple pages regarding the psychology behind this. I'd like to hear some of your ideas on the subject, as I find even a little of this in the book.
If anyone would like to try to reach me with information, I can be contacted by e-mail at spot341@yahoo.com, by AIM as Spot0, and by ICQ at #2413908.
Thanks again,
Spot
