    Very interesting ideas, Héctor!... There are some forms of chat and instant messaging where you can see exactly what the person is typing AS they type it...including typing mistakes, backspacing, deletions, and pauses. In that kind of communication, it would be easier to detect that "presence of absence" as well as develop a closer "feel" for the client's free association.
