    internet personals sites
    Ayer · 1/18/00 at 8:34 am ET

    Hello everyone,

I am a journalist writing an article on internet personals/dating/singles sites, the sorts of people that frequent them, and the psychology of the sites themselves.

I'm not too sure how to classify them,(or if I should try) but could we consider them a slightly different take on an online community? Would there be many differences between other online communities & this sort?

Does this particluar subculture of psycho-cyberspace deserve its own analysis? If anyone has any comments or knows of anywhere online that may have articles of any sort relating to this, I would appreciate you posting here.

    Many thanks
    Ayer
