Good posts, Brewster! I think you're right that there may be individual preferences about having a sponsor f2f or online. No doubt meeting with a sponsor f2f has some distinct advantages. On the other hand, some alcoholics might NEVER seek help f2f, but might do it online. Some people will only open up if they can't be seen in-person. It may only be a first step, but it's an important one.
