what happend whit the non verbal languaje?

    hi from Mexico ,
I am finishing my carrier (psychology) and i am making an investigation about psychotherapy by internet, and i have many questions because i have to do an analisys about this method of psychotherapy in at least five tipes of therapy, psychoanalisys, gestalt, cognitive, and terapia breve y de urgencia (i don't know its name in english but is the same about therapy by phone). my question is, in your opinion, is the psichotherapy by internet really therapy?, how can we sustitute the non verbal languaje? how can we really "hear" the patient by internet if we just read all that he say but not how is he saying?
i hope you can help me, because, i tried to ask to the doctors who offers them services by internet about how does they sustitute the non verbal languaje, or how succesful are the results but, obviously they never anwered, so i think either they know what are they doing exactly, i had found there are not many information about this topic, either in libraries, or asociations in latin america or europe, so... if you know some article about this topic i will be thank you.

    realy thank you!

    Montserrat Gerez
