He most likely reads the literature (read: propaganda) disseminated by far-left homophobic factions that boost their political stances by making such insane, outdated commentaries. Most of those activists harbor uncomfortable homosexual urges within themselves and find them so repulsive that they vehemently deny them -- especially to themselves -- and then try to convince gay people that they are sick and perverted and need this conversion therapy, that is really just brainwashing at the hands of sick, incompetent people. It is very sad that with all the studies and empirical evidence that so strongly indicate gay people have no higher incidence of mental illness or psychic structural malformations that these homophobics, who are clearly so scared of their own bisexual desires find it comforting by making homosexuals feel they are somewhat inferior. If these homophobics would take an honest look and do some balanced research on homosexuality and bisexualityk they might be able to feel more at peace with themselves -- whether or not they act out their true desires -- and not feel they have a "mission" to destroy people who are often a lot happier and better adjusted that those who deny their true leanings. What has been undisputed is that living in a state of self-denial is harmful to others, especially when these people who insist on conversion tactics are psychotherapists. I as well as a great body of other psychotherapists and psychoanalysts believe that soon these conversion therapies will be considered invalid and harmful and disbanded, leaving those who feel they must adhere to these practices out in the cold. I can only hope that they are getting some intensive treatment themselves. Best of luck. I think most of our goals are to see the world live in peace and not be unfailry judged simply due to some people's ignorance. Thank you for letting me say my piece.
