Now, I am NOT an expert in "past-life regression therapy," but have some knowledge of it. Based upon the reincarnation supposition/philosophy/theology, the idea is that one's current inability to effectively cope with life's difficulties is related to unresolved problems in previous lives. Ordinarily through hypnosis, the subject is "regressed" to their "previous lives" in order to discover the etiology of their current predicament. I suppose one could suggest that this "approach" is similar to that of psychoanalysis. I have never known anyone who actually was "cured" through the latter approach, and the former sounds like a crock.
