Behaviorism is not the powerhouse that it once was. We are now discovering multifarious influences of the mind on behavior. We are thinking beings, much of what we think affects what we do. Cognitive psychology is probably the main field of interest as of right now. It would be wise to pursue a career in this field. I do not believe there are many opportunites as a behaviorist, besides teaching.
