All pathological testing, as well as any other types of testing have not come up with any significant problems. Sinceshe has been in therapy for 11 years, she has been through a number of different tests. Her family history includes anxiety and depression, mainly on her father's side. One uncle committed suicide when she was about 10. She was not very close to him. There are not many clues from her records that I obtained from past doctors. Her past diagnosis', over the last 10 years) have included, as I mentioned earlier, PTSD, agoraphobia, social anxiety, separation anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder, major depression and disthymia, anorexia nervosa, suicidal and OCD tendencies, self- injury. Whenever something is started to come under conbtrol, something new comes up with a vengeance. She has had a few years worth of "healthy" time during these ten years. Thjis meant she was able to function well enough without seeing a psychologist. Then it would go downhill until it was worse then before it seems. She brought in some old diaries and journals for me to read when she went home. She describes the experience at the hospital, remember pretty detailed evenmts. The one that concerns me sounds a lot like she was given some type of gynecological exam there. I questioned her mother, who says shehas no idea what I was talking about. She started getting upset, saying she was there with Kelly as much as she physically could be, with two girls sick in the hospital and another daughter and baby at home. When questioning the patient about this, she refused to talk any further about it, saying it doesn't matter, it's just one of the memories. There is no record of this being done. Anyone with knowledge of spinal meninjitis? I've been doing some reasearch..
