By shaping our vocabulary and assumptions, our paradigms determine what we can know--the questions we can ask, the answers we can find, the meanings we give our experiences and data.

* What are today's paradigms for thinking about sexuality?
* How have they molded our thinking in ways we never intended?
* What are their political implications?
* How much are sexology's limitations due to faulty or obsolete paradigms?
