Resolution of Sexual attraction and transference?

What are professionals finding either in research or in personl experience as to what happens after "in love" transerence of a client? How does this resolve?

There must be others than those who are angry about violation. Does this transference or "love" go through a break up stage. Does the client remain forever in love idealizing the man (or woman) in the room?
