In psychoanalysis, a daughter's unconscious libidinal desire for her father is called Electra Complex which is the female counterpart of the Oedipus complex in the male. It is a term used to describe unresolved conflicts during childhood development toward the father which subsequently influence a woman's relationships with men. Synonymous with father complex.
