It's a difficult question. I would be reluctant to view either A or Cs sexual desire as pathological, and 'medicating desire' would in both cases, seem to me, to label it as such. I don't see this as either a religious or moral question, but of course, it could very well be for the client, depending on their perspective. I think issues of sexual incompatibilty are difficult to treat on an individual basis, that is to say with only one half of the couple we can only see one half of the story. I don't know the answer, but it's a very interesting issue.
