    I agree with most of your response. The one issue that it does not address is that some "sex offeners" are FORCED to take a plea of guilty because the risk of losing at trial is so great. I'm also convinced that some juries only focus on the "victim" and not the facts of a case. If the offense is Child Molest, they want to convict SOMEBODY. There are two kinds of convicted sex offenders; those who did it and those who didn't. Those who "did" it far outweigh those who didn't but I have seen a few who have gone to prison for long sentences and I am convinced that they were innocent. I understand that sex offenders usually deny the offense or minimize it (we ALL minimize embarrassing behaviors) but so do innocent poeple.
