Although your reply was sent a year ago it exhibits very good advice. This problem is increasing at an enormous rate with no end in sight. I too have been researching this topic for more information to help me to deal with this problem as a victim to the addict. Of course, the addict has no idea I have discovered his past-time so his moody-sometimes cruel behavior is understood by me and I have the comfort of knowing that the behavior he exhibits is not my problem or fault but HIS. I wish I knew the next step to take---confrontation doesn't seem to be an option from all the research I have come across.
