Re: Transference (female attracted to female therapists)

Lori, I wish someone would answer your question about heterosexual (or now bisexual?) women being attracted to their female therapists. I find myself in your situation and agree that it is painful and confusing.

I'd like to hear the experience of other women (heterosexual, bi and lesbian) who found themselves attracted to a female therapist, wanting a relationship with the therapists or intensly fantasising about their female theripist.

I am a therapist in training and I would also like to hear comment from other female therapist who have found themselves attracted to a female client.

What do you make of this?
Is there research on this subject that you can direct me to?
