Hi Dave I actually contacted your service about a clinical position some time ago because I was interested in the mix of face-to-face and telemedicine for the remote west of scotland. Ended up in Norwich. I was very involved in the Telemedicine project in Queensland, Australia, with Peter Yellowlees. Interesting stuff. I have been to the institute of psychiatry and chatted with Jeffery Gray and Judy Proudfoot, who have put together a really neat CD-ROM treatment for depression. Its not not suitable for web-based delivery owing to bandwidth limitations and the amount of video in the treatment, but its good stuff. I am also aware of Jesse Wright's similar program in the States, and also of Isaac Marks' BT Steps program for OCD. I also just read a brief report in J. Cons. & Clin. Psychology (Vol. 68) on an interactive internet program, including discussion forum, for eating disorders in college students. Since posting the above note I've managed to get hold of 6 IT people that are going to dot he website for me free of charge. I now have to sit down and scratch out a CBT manual, which should be manageable. Cheers darrenspooner@lineone.net
