Are you going to work with managed care and in clinical work or in OD consulting work? In both arenas a PC is important and software for billing reasons. However to siplify your back office work I woould get in touch with Kelley Freeman who has a company in Texas called Psyquel--see www.PSYQUEL.com

His company for a very reasonable fee is a back office for consulting and clinical practices -- this taking the burden of administration off one's hands.
