Hi! I started to practice meditation and visualization for anxiety. It seemed to help and I wanted to continue this practice. However, after searching for more information about meditation on the internet, I was frightened by the stories of people having psychotic breaks, very painful physical experiences, etc. related to "kundalini rising". Never the less this has stopped me from continuing my meditative practice. Can anyone shed light on 'kundalini" and about the safety of meditation in general? I would like to start to meditate again, but am frightened.
