It would be nice if all "good" people could afford the care they needed, but our society has not reached that level of enlightenment yet. In the meantime the rich gets everything they need (and then some), and the poor sometimes have to play Robin Hood to get basic needs fulfilled. Of course, it is usually also the rich who then goes on to have "moral" upchucks about the Robin Hood's of the forest. I can only take such morality seriously if it is followed up with some serious dough to help those less fortunate get the care they need. This is not entirely accurate. I needed help, do not have insurance, I could not get any good help because psychotherapists in my town all charge at least 90 dollars an hour and none would do a sliding scale plan. It’s not necessarily the fault of the insurance companies or politicans. It’s also the fault of social workers and psychologists who want to charge exorbitant rates for therapy to poor people and are not willing to charge 20 or 30 or 40 per hour. You seem to want to blame the rich or the insurance companies but the professionals are also to blame, they have to share some of it. After all, many of those “rich” or upper middle class people you blame, are high paid psychologists or social workers.
