It is not possible for you to date, or to have a personal relationship with your therapist. There are very stright rules for this, and they are mainly designed to protect you, and make sure your therapist does not take advantage of you. Your therapist should be completely focused on your best interests, and that will be compromised if you have a personal relationship. That said it is quite common for clients to develop strong feelings for their therapists. This makes sense, since the therapist are helping them with difficult issues, and paying a lot of attention to them. This is the very crux of why it is impossible to allow therapists to engage in personal relationships with their clients. Most skilled therapists are able to handle this in a caring and gentle way. Although not all therapists are able to have that skill level. The general idea is you should talk to your therapist about your feelings, but it is of course up to you to decide if you feel this is safe or not. Da Friendly Puter Tech
