I stand by my actions and make no apologies. I believe I did the ethical thing by discussing this with my supervisor and leaving it up to her to decide what action to take. OK that’s great. You seem to picture me as some manic over involved super-controlling basket case. Where do you get off implying that I "created" this situation? Did you even read the post? Apparently not, since many of your opinions are based on what appear to be figments of your imagination. I never said that you created the situation, PsyDoc implied it when he said that this was a “punctuating the sequence" event in which is a situation that two or more people create, not just one. I was questioning the merits of his supposition. I never said that you solely created the situation. I never said that the alcoholic solely created it either. It is apparent that you did not read the entire thread. I also do not understand why you are so angry with me for expressing my opinion when you originally seemed to want opinions by posting your original conflict of interest question here. No where did I use any Ad homynim attack either. I apologize if my opinion on the situation has offended you. Where do you get the idea that I created this? Oh, yeah, I was watching "Cops" on my television and I mental telepathied my neighbors to come out of their house and recreate one of the COps scenes in my back yard. Again I never said that you created this situation anywhere in any post. But, of course, you think I also caused him to drive drunk that afternoon. That is not true, I do not think you caused him to drive drunk. No where did I ever say that. Yes, I created all this. No, you did not create all this, I never said that anywhere. So you think I should treat this jerk with kid gloves and cowtow to avoid his trigger-hair temper because he "might come back and haunt me??" No, I don’t nor did I ever say that either.
