No, no Carey, what I said was that what Todd said �essentially that the �mind� can be �extended� beyond the �individual� brain which can transcend �individual reproductive survival��could be roughly said of termites; and I suspect that JimB would more or less agree.

Nevertheless Carey, your point that I can be an asshole may still be valid (assuming you�re using the term in a figurative sense, which you must be since a literal rendition wouldn�t seem to work here). And I�m certain others have occasionally seen me in a similar light, so yes, you�re probably right. However, I suspect that many Darwinians, insisting on a atheistic-mechanistic and purposeless universe POV (who�re usually unable to acknowledge the nasty implications of that POV), contrary to the implications of much physics (real science), may be even bigger ones than I.
