I thought perhaps Jeff would answer this as I know of no such technique called the "Jacobsons method of Hypnosis." My association is that this may refer to a sort of systematic relaxation during the induction phase. As for the "Can Biofeedback be used in Hypnosis?" That is a definite 'yes'. The use of biofeedback in hypnosis varies depending upon the desire and skill of the operator. I use biofeedback to help convince skeptical pain control patients that anxiety related issues play a role in their experience of pain and comfort (and their situation is not merely a "medical" condition over which they have no control). About 10-20% of the time I find that useful. I also can monitor releif during trance work that may be more subtle than the client can signal to me. I find that handy about 30% of the time as well.
