I believe that the person should contact the Erickson foundation in Phoenix and from there receive orientation of professional help for somebody that belongs to the foundation or has been trained by any institute validated by you. There is evident risk of using hypnosis in demonstrations for people with vague knowledge of the topic.The erickson foundation mmay have an internal document for the institutes around the world about the ethical aspects of the use of the hypnosis. Yes, the use of hypnosis by the uninformed may create problems. I would not take my car to an untrained mechanic. I would not allow an untrained person to work with my mind.
