If I remember well, constructivism is the term that underlines how the biological characteristics determine profoundly the way we perceive the world and therefore construct with the information we are able to gather, our 'reality'. Instead, socioconstruccionism is a more developed concept: it implies that for example, an oberserver should be responsible for acknowledging the world as a biological as well as a socially constructed one. At the end what really counts, is what we do with these concepts. They influence the way we perceive and construct realities too, and therefore, the way we work as therapists, for example.
