Yes others do this. For one, Dr. Kristina Erickson, MD, Dr. Erickson's daughter who is an er physician. I don't believe there are books on the subject though I think I've seen some papers on the subject. There are some related articles re: medical contexts in the Ericksonian Monographs. One on use with Management of Acute Psychosis by John Edgette, Ph.D. in Vol 3; 3 on medical applicatoins in Vol 4; on on controlling bleeding for an x-ray series by William Bank, MD in Vol. 1; and, one in Vol 10. There may be some in the Proceedings of the International Congress(es) over the years. Dr. Zeig would know bettter by memory on that issue.
