    What's Free Will

I have a question for you.... What's manipulation?? "Assuming" that clearly Erickson was in a unique position to know certain ways of eliciting favourable responses, and that there are a ways of creating repressed memories that are non-exsistant realities. Can someone be controlled and to what extent? Erickson had made it clear that the subconscience knew best. My point being can someone be hypnotised against their conscience will to do something that they would conscincely decide that they would not do?? Impressing the subconscience of another is a learned skill, is not manipulation the ability to skillful controll another?
